Hexenhaus meets Bauhaus, architects Alison & Peter Smithson

Art history: Modernism

British architects Alison & Peter Smithsons were amoung the most influential and controversial British architects of the mid-20th century. They are know for many accolades to design and architecture among them the 'Hexenhaus' house which they adapted from 1985 (for the next 15 years).

Following in true Bauhaus teachings of creating a 'total' work of art in which all arts, including architecture are brought together; modernism at its best.
